WalkTale Support
Turn today's walk into a little story.
WalkTale reads the steps already in Apple Health and shows them in fun ways, like “about 18× the height of N Seoul Tower” or “a banana's worth of energy”, then lets you share a card or a short video.
Features
- Today's comparisons: landmarks, food, travel and story yardsticks
- Today's story: your day in a few slides, ready to share
- Records: day, week, month and year reports, virtual trips, landmark collection, keepsakes
- Walk recording: GPS walks with pause and resume, plus route cards
- Sharing: cards in several designs (9:16, 4:5, 1:1) and short videos
FAQ
- My steps show 0. Check My > Apple Health is on, and Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > WalkTale allows Steps and Walking + Running Distance. Apple Watch data appears after it syncs to iPhone.
- I don't use Health. Tap “Use iPhone steps” on Home, or “Enter distance”.
- Are iPhone and Apple Watch steps counted twice? No. WalkTale uses Apple Health's merged daily total and never adds sources together.
- Are calories exact? They are estimates based on the weight set in My. Not for medical use.
- Can I lock the screen while recording a walk? Yes. Location is used only during a walk you started and stops when you end it.
- How do I delete everything? My > Delete all records. Apple Health is not changed.
