Clock Out Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026 · iOS app
1. Information you enter
Clock Out is a workday companion from Double Y Labs. No account is required. Your pay, work schedule, day overrides, character name, records and sharing preferences are stored on your device, not uploaded to our servers. Widgets and Live Activities on the same device use shared app-group settings. These files may be included in iCloud or computer backups according to your iPhone backup settings.
2. Optional permissions
Outside Korea and Japan, connecting a holiday calendar requests iOS full Calendar access. That permission can provide broad access to calendar events. The app lists calendar names, queries events from the calendar you select on-device, then uses all-day event dates as days off. It does not determine whether an event is an official holiday; choose a dedicated holiday calendar. It stores the selected calendar identifier and date keys, not event titles, notes or attendees, and does not transmit calendar contents. Disconnecting clears cached dates; revoked permission takes effect at the next refresh. Photo saving requests add-only access when you choose to save. Notifications and Live Activities run on-device without our own push server.
3. Advertising
We use Google AdMob for ads and Google UMP for privacy choices. Ad SDKs may process IP address and approximate location, device/app identifiers and information, ad views and clicks, and diagnostics. Ad requests in this privacy-controls update specify non-personalized ads. Older versions follow their SDK and consent configuration. Non-personalized does not mean no data collection: delivery, measurement and fraud prevention still involve data. The app does not request ATT permission. A UMP message may appear where required. When available, revisit choices in Settings > More > Privacy & support > Ad privacy choices. Available messages depend on region and advertising-service configuration.
4. Analytics and app versions
Google Firebase Analytics may process usage events, an app-instance identifier, device/OS/app information and approximate region. In updates with the optional Share usage analytics setting, collection is off by default. You can enable or disable it in Settings > More > Privacy & support. Disabling stops future analytics collection and resets the local analytics identifier. Older versions without this setting collect analytics automatically; update when the new version is available. We do not include your entered pay, work schedule or character name in analytics events or ad requests.
5. Sharing and support
When you share, the selected image, video and text are sent to the app you choose. Check amount visibility first. We cannot recall copies you already shared. If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and any attachments to handle your request. Please redact pay amounts and calendar details.
6. Retention, deletion and choices
Local settings remain until you change them or delete the app. Offloading the app is not deletion. App deletion does not delete iCloud/computer backups, saved photos, shared copies or data already received by Google; manage these separately. Analytics server retention follows the Firebase property's retention settings; advertising data follows Google's service policies. Support correspondence is retained for handling your request and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion or restriction under applicable law. Without user accounts, we may not be able to associate an SDK identifier with you. Disabling analytics does not disable advertising.
7. International processing and US rights
During ad use and opted-in analytics, data is transferred over the network to Google LLC and may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates. The information and purposes are described above and in Google's documentation. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information and opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising. Contact us to exercise applicable rights; use regional Ad privacy choices where provided. The app is intended for working adults and is not directed to children.
