Day by Day Support
From today, day by day. Your number, like a poster.
Day by Day shows how many days it has been since you started or quit something, as one big number, and turns that moment into a card worth sharing. No checklists or charts, just today's number.
Features
- Big-number home: choose from three styles: Poster, Big type, and Daylight.
- Starting or quitting: reads naturally either way, such as “Going for 23 days” or “Free for 42 days”.
- Done today: check in once a day, with a celebration on days 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 50, 100, and 365.
- Share cards: six templates in Instagram Story, Feed, and Portrait sizes. Save or share them.
- Widgets: see your number on the Home Screen and Lock Screen, and check in right from the widget.
- Five languages: 한국어, English, 日本語, 简体中文, 繁體中文.
Privacy first
- No account.
- Challenges and records stay on your device, never on a server.
- To improve the App, only usage statistics and crash reports are sent, without challenge titles or photos.
FAQ
- How is the day count calculated? Your start date is day 1, and the number goes up at midnight in your device's time zone. It goes up whether or not you tap “Done today”; checking in is your record that you made it through today.
- I missed a day. Open ⋯ > Start over on the home screen and choose “Start again today” or “Keep my record and continue”. Your best record is always kept.
- How do I add a widget? Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, tap Edit > Add Widget, and find Day by Day. Touch and hold the widget and choose Edit Widget to pick which challenge it shows.
- Can I see it on my Mac? On macOS Sonoma or later, choose Edit Widgets on your Mac desktop to add the Day by Day iPhone widget (same Apple ID, iPhone nearby).
- How do I change the home style or color? Touch and hold the home screen, or tap ⋯ > Style & color.
- How do I change the language? iPhone Settings > Apps > Day by Day > Language. Challenges picked from suggestions switch language too.
- Will my records move to a new iPhone? The App doesn't sync with iCloud, so a fresh install starts empty. Restoring your new iPhone from a full backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) brings your records along.
- Cards aren't saving to Photos. Check iPhone Settings > Apps > Day by Day > Photos and allow “Add Photos Only”.
- Where do ads appear? At the bottom of Settings and Records, and occasionally after you finish sharing a card. Never on the home screen, when you check in, or right before you share.
